Teeth Extraction

Restore your dental health with gentle and efficient removal of painful and problematic teeth

Routine Tooth Extractions

Routine (or simple) extractions are performed on teeth that are fully erupted and visible in the mouth. This procedure is usually needed for:

  • Loose or mobile teeth due to gum disease
  • Non restorable teeth due to decay or fracture
  • Retained baby teeth
  • Premolar removal for Orthodontic purposes

Minor Oral Surgery

Some extractions may be more complex and require a minor surgical approach—especially if the tooth has broken off at the gum line, is impacted, or has complicated bulbous or curved roots.

What is an Impacted Wisdom Tooth?

An impacted wisdom tooth is one that does not have enough space to fully erupt into the oral cavity. It may stay fully trapped beneath the gum and bone, partially erupt, or grow out at an angle. The position of the impacted wisdom tooth may be horizontal or angled towards or away from the adjacent molar. This often happens because the jaw is too small to accommodate all four wisdom teeth.

Wisdom Tooth Surgery

Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, are our teeth at the back of the mouth that usually erupt between the ages of 17 and 25. While some people have no symptoms when their wisdom teeth erupt, others may experience complications—especially when the teeth become impacted.

Common Problems Caused by Wisdom Tooth

Pain and swelling in the back of the mouth
Infection or inflammation of the surrounding gum tissue (pericoronitis)
Decay in the wisdom tooth or adjacent teeth
Damage to adjacent teeth due to pressure
Cysts formation around the impacted tooth
Difficulty cleaning the area, leading to poor hygiene
Even if you do not experience any symptoms, your dentist may recommend wisdom teeth removal to prevent future problems.
